Service Description
Moist heat therapy involves applying heat to the body using a moist wet source therapist sprays onto a weighted beads back pack which may be used in any other areas besides the back to relax muscle tissue. This process penetrates deeper into tissues compared to just dry heat therapy, which uses a dry heat source like a heating pad, and is generally more convenient to apply; both types are used to relieve pain and muscle tension. The miracle of moist heat is in the layers of body tissue in which becomes relaxed preparing for receiving a massage on any level regardless if Swedish, or deep tissue for an example. People find moist heat therapy brings them a relaxed body and mind so that treatment is receptive with a positive and relaxing outcome.
Cancellation Policy
Payment is due in full at the time of booking a service online. There is a window of time your booking may be cancelled up to 12 hours before the start of your session, thereafter; any cancellations 12 hours before and no-shows will result in an automatic 50% charge of the total rate of your session. If you are late for your booked session and arrive past our (15-minute allotted window of time) of your designated start time, and this includes: showing up regardless if on-time or late but needing to cancel your booking on the spot, is not acceptable; therefore the practitioner (therapist/service provider) reserves the right to label your session as a no-show or altogether cancel your session on the spot resulting in a 50% no-show/cancellation fee charged to the card on file. MHH Massage and Starr Fit Club are not responsible or make any guarantees that we will be available personally to either reschedule or cancel any bookings on your behalf as we reserve that responsibility to the customer by making use of our downloadable booking app "Spaces by Wix" (iOS and Android capable). The practitioner is a sole operating business entity therefore may not be in a position to accept a call during business hours or other forms of communication such as text message, email, or website chat bot while attending to other customers to ensure a quality and uninterrupted service is carried out at all times for each of our valued customers. MHH Massage highly recommends you download our "Spaces by Wix" app (found on the app store) to create your account (if you haven't already done so) using the same email you used when you booked your session with us in order to manage your bookings, and gain steady access to conveniently booking, rescheduling, and cancelling your bookings from the palm of your hands on your time.
