Service Description
PowerDot's neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) send electronic pulses to stimulate your motor nerves to create muscle contraction and stimulate sensory nerves to temporarily relieve pain. You receive 1 hour massage and a maximum of 30 min of electric muscle stimulation to one specific area as needed. This is great not just for professional athletes but anyone who can benefit from muscle tightness needing pain relief and circulation enhancement necessary for proper body mechanics. The best minds in sports performance all agree that EMS is a valuable tool, particularly at the highest levels of performance. However, professionals in all sports—particularly at upper levels—do not fully understand the applications and benefits of EMS technology. Many coaches and trainers have heard of EMS devices but have not yet recommended the integrated technology into their sports players regular wellness routine. Prepare your muscles for extensive physical strain by helping them relax and undo stress.
Cancellation Policy
Payment is due in full at the time of booking a service online. There is a window of time your booking may be cancelled up to 12 hours before the start of your session, thereafter; any cancellations 12 hours before and no-shows will result in an automatic 50% charge of the total rate of your session. If you are late for your booked session and arrive past our (15-minute allotted window of time) of your designated start time, and this includes: showing up regardless if on-time or late but needing to cancel your booking on the spot, is not acceptable; therefore the practitioner (therapist/service provider) reserves the right to label your session as a no-show or altogether cancel your session on the spot resulting in a 50% no-show/cancellation fee charged to the card on file. MHH Massage and Starr Fit Club are not responsible or make any guarantees that we will be available personally to either reschedule or cancel any bookings on your behalf as we reserve that responsibility to the customer by making use of our downloadable booking app "Spaces by Wix" (iOS and Android capable). The practitioner is a sole operating business entity therefore may not be in a position to accept a call during business hours or other forms of communication such as text message, email, or website chat bot while attending to other customers to ensure a quality and uninterrupted service is carried out at all times for each of our valued customers. MHH Massage highly recommends you download our "Spaces by Wix" app (found on the app store) to create your account (if you haven't already done so) using the same email you used when you booked your session with us in order to manage your bookings, and gain steady access to conveniently booking, rescheduling, and cancelling your bookings from the palm of your hands on your time.
